claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Lame sales call, claiming to work with BT Openreach. Considering that Openreach hasn t been called "BT Openreach" for several years, BT divested the company in March 2017. So, lame start to sales call. Then claims to save money on broadband and phone, I think we have all heard these claims.
At first I thought they were a legit company regarding my adverts already on the web. They then transferred me to someone else and he was very aggressively trying to get me to pay to promote my business. Eventually I said that I wasn t going to pay but he kept on. I hung up.
