Was the usual boilers on benefits call. I engaged for a short time, he asked about anyone being on benefits/pension credits etc. and what type of heating I have. I said wife is on benefits and on gas. Getting excited now he "helped" me put that into, wife is on ESA and the house runs on LPG gas and is 20 years old. He then said, "that s good news.." and he would now pass me over to the agent who deals with the process, he told me what magic words to say. At that point I closed the call. It seems he was a

NATIONAL BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS LTD We were called today by Bailey who confirmed he found our number online and did not screen for TPS. He confirmed he understood the law regarding TPS. To call TPS reg number is against the law. Asked to speak with his manager Oliver who did not seem concerned. I repeatedly asked to be put through to his manager which he refused, 'saying no one was available'. Asked for the Compliance Officer again he refused.

SPAM - claims to be Carphone Warehouse trying to sell a new phone contract; I'm on TPS so it's either spam, or just not genuine.

This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

Indian scammers now have the facility to send information to your phone that displays a different number to where they are phoning from. Hence this number does not belong to the scum trying to tel me they are from Amazon and have that I have just been charged for an Iphone 7 for £350 which has been deducted from my bank account. Total rubbish of course as they just want you to give them your bank account details.
