Said he was calling from my household insurance company, which was a lie because I am with Domestic and General. He kept trying to say it was an adjustment to my payment method. When I let on I was with Domestic & General he rudely hung up without another word. I am registered with TPS so this is a real nuisance to keep getting calls like this.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Codazone been robbing my mum for weeks. Extra £17 on her phone bill and yet she plays no online games like they are claiming. Googled the number and found this and despite sending STOP it continued. I contacted o2 for help and they gave me a customer service number for codazone but when you press option 3 for operator the call just ends. Has anyone had any success in claiming the money back.

A man with a strong Indian/Pakistani accent called and told me he was calling from BT as my broadband connection was to be updated. He asked me to turn on my router and my laptop and the update would automatically start to download. I said that there have been a number of scam calls asking people to do this, would he mind if I hung up and called him back. Dozens of calls from this company some silent some not. I block the number but they use a different one each time. Some terminate when I ask why they are ringing me. I have to ansa cos my son is critically ill in hospital. I want this stopped and the company fined.
