Phone call earlier this evening reputed to be from the Buxton Opera House. However when checking the local phone directory the Opera House does not appear to have the given number

Keep calling me and they ask for another person s name. They refuse to give any details as to who they are.

I need to know if these people are scammers I I answered the phone and the lady called and said that it is regarding an insurance taken out on a television Three years ago.

Message left on answering machine about "home appliance cover". I don t have any. Scam.

Call from amazon about my prime account that they say I have just renewed. Thats news to me.

2 calls from this number today. When you call it, it clicks over to a strange ring tone. Suspect scam, blocked straight away.

I get at least one call every day, despite being with TPS. The calls are silent. I am also ex-directory. Please, anyone getting calls from this number, make a complaint to Ofcom. With enough complaints they will investigate and can levy a lovely big fine

Foreign accent. Could not get to the phone on time. Tried to call the number back got a foreign accent.

Called us once today- quite suspicious as we're not in the UK but in Germany ???? We missed the call and there was no message left.

Multiple calls from 0161 3805 prefix.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. I had a call from a health centre saying they were doing a senior health check, how do these people sleep at night!!!

Recorded message led to possible scam/fraud pretending (?) to be from Amazon Prime. Voice and line sound all indicating Indian subcontinent origin.
