I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). The company does have a small department off staff that generate leads through the website, and may phone up to follow up a recent/previous enquiry. The website offer savings and comparison. Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package. I told the girl i don t have a package with them, and she quickly replied that she was calling from Thomson Local. I enqired "Thompson Local?" To which she answered that she will call me back. Cost 1.50p per minute without even telling you in advance. I attempted to call the back and found a ?5 charge on my phone bill, after only getting through to answer machine, bill NEVER again!! BEWARE do not call this number or you ll pay!!

This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!
