This is a naughty one. Someone is using the Motor Insurance Bureau s number to hide their identity. The MIB is the body that coordinates motor vehicle claims in the U.K. If you have not had a vehicle accident don t answer it, or at least ring back later, if you want to.

Fraud and Bitcoin scam. They present very nice case that you are owed money back from the Market Cube and trick you into paying money into Binance.com account under your name. Then they transfer money to another bitcoin account that they say is yours and actually has nothing to do with you. They convince transfers need to be done to confirm your identity and so that they can pay you money back without suspicion of money laundering. Absolute scam.

claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. Call center Pertaining to be from Whoopsie.co.uk. Another boiler maintenance company. They actually seem to be a legitimate firm offering alternative boiler maintenance contract as insurance brokers.. However, I am already with British Gas and have no problems with them and also 7 month left on the contract. Rather pushy sales rep who insinuated I had wasted 20 minutes of her time. In that case, job done at this end I would say.
SCAM !!!! this is a call from bank fraud...its automated and says a payment was made from my bank to Amazon and an international payment made this morning. THIS IS NOT TRUE! THEY TRY TO GET BANK DETAILS FROM YOU. BLOCKED IMMEDIATELY.
SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.

SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.

SCAM call asking to speak to a person who doesn't exist at my address - when asked who was calling, he said he was calling about the washing machine warranty that's expired and he was calling to offer a renewal. I asked him what washing machine and he said 'the washing machine manufacturer's warranty - i.e. didn't answer the question. I asked him who the company was and he said PYG - when I said, never heard of them, no such person as you requested and we're on the telephone preference list, he hung up.
