Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers) - can be something different and legitimate, but srry I'm always suspicious considering numbers for shared rate. I recommend to block the whole 0845286xxxx range... Did someone answer this number?

Fraud They call to advise that an arrest warrant has been issued in "Your" name for tax evasion, and invite you to press "1" for further info. A person with a strong Indian accent answers and in short they invite you to settle out of court. I suspect that the caller is not UK based but is using some relay of sorts to make calls appear to be UK based. Once you have them on the line, it is up to you whether to simply insult them or string them along for as long

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17092768xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, insurance claims, industrial hearing loss, accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
How do they know ur address and name that's what ibwant to know I didn't even drive in 2014 so it's scam I hung up and blocked them !!!

Just been called by this automated caller saying they are BT and internet line will be disconnected. It then goes on to give you a choice of press one or 2 to not be disconnected or to be disconnected. Doesn’t make sense if they are calling you to tell you it’s going to be disconnected then givie you the choice! Quite funny
