I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.

I do know they used to be a company called Lombard Legal who were based in liverpool and the man behind this was christian carney who employed his staff as directors. Was the usual boilers on benefits call. I engaged for a short time, he asked about anyone being on benefits/pension credits etc. and what type of heating I have. Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status.
