Fraud - Irish - claiming HMRC and had received a miss call from me !!!
I ve had the number call my mobile several times and never answered it. They never leave a message which makes me think it was a sales call anyway. I tend to get a lot of unwanted calls from recruitment agencies and wondered if it was one of those.
Voice message saying my Amazon Prime had expired (I do not have Amazon Prime) and a payment for £95 was being taken, press either 1 or 2 for different reasons (can't remember what they were). I think this is a scam!

I have just received a call, a person, with an Asian accent, telling me that they were calling on behalf of my internet provider! (I received a similar call last week too, but told them I was having dinner). Apparently, they have noticed that my internet is not working to it s full potential. SPAM recorded call today saying they were from the bank and a payment for £700 had been made to Amazon and £2000 had been transferred elsewhere. The usual press 1 to transfer or press 2 to speak to someone. I hung up.
Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
