This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.

He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. "Sam" called asking if I was the homeowner. Then started on about window replacements, at which point I rang off, but I note that the same number had been used to try adn sell new driveways.

SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.
SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.
