SCAM Had a call from this number 8.45 Saturday morning. Started off saying calling from Virgin media and that my broadband connection was not working properly a d she was going to boost it. Then she tried the old scam of getting me to log on to my laptop or computer and pressing CTRL and windows keys. Received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be someone who has just immigrated to the UK. In the WhatsApp contact details it says that the number is a business account but it also has a comment saying it isn’t a business account. Very dubious. Suspect a phishing scam

Fed up with calls from this number blocked it with my phone reported to TPS but seems to make no difference BY need to look into this type of thing and try to stop it after all we pay enough for the BT service avoid at all costs
Got a call from this number saying that I had successful PPI claim on a credit card and they needed UKASH voucher for their 10% commission - although I had never paid PPI on that card. A quick google check showed another cost trap with very similar number (02032864182) with almost identical MO. I shall therefore most definitely NOT be giving them any UKASH code, nor any other detail. Hopefully I can help protect potential victims.
