just what to know who called
Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. Recommend ignoring any calls from this dodgy number. UPDATE-BEWARE - Just discovered that the caller is a criminal fraudster/scammer, purporting to be from TalkTalk, trying to steal mon

SCAM - beware if a supposed family member sends a WhatsApp message saying they’ve lost their phone and that this is their new number. Whoever it was tried to scam 4K from me by pretending to be my son in trouble. Luckily the amount was too much to even think about sending it without speaking to him. So please please make sure you know who you’re talking to. If it had been a smaller amount I may have considered sending it.

Very rude, so they were met with a similar response from myself. Called again next day, I answered saying "this phone call is recorded for legal purposes" and they hung up.
SCAM Automated call from “Amazon” to say iPhone 7 I had ordered was going to be dispatched and I was going to be charged £399. with usual instruction to press 1 to speak to adviser if I hadn’t ordered it. Blocked number straight away; obviously I had not ordered an iPhone from anyone.

SCAM - Claiming National Insurance Number has been stolen.
SPAM BT Openreach technical dept asking about my internet speed, when did I last test it, what were the values, can I recheck it. Then he asked if I knew how to get an accurate one and he would help me. I asked WHY!! He then wanted the ping rate. In the end I think he wasn’t happy because I am actually annoyed at the service 1.3 megabytes per second! I asked him what is this about and I am NOT letting you near my iPad. He hung up.
