I took on my phone number in January and the previous holder of the number is being sought by these people. They call up to five times a day and despite me advising EVERY SINGLE FKNG TIME that I am not who they are looking for and even having written to their complaints department, the calls don t stop. I m absolutely sick to the back teeth of them.
PPI Calls from South African using Tel. No. 0161 814 2295, 0162 284 5443, etc and nearly drove me around the bend calling up to 6 times daily.

Initially missed the first phone call so I called back. Some foreign guy answered and said he was from the HMRC and that I was due to pay £1260 from a previous tax audit. I told him that I don't believe him. He then said that if I don't believe him then "someone" would come to my door and take me into custody, LOL. Rung 12 times in the past 8 days. I ve been away in the USA so finally answered now I m back and wished I hadn t. Was relatively pushy about doing me the favour of switching my energy company and "putting money in my pocket", pretty much had to just hang up on her as she wouldn t take no for an answer. SCAM / SPAM A new Amazon Prime scam call today. 8 days ago we had the same type of call (01203482996 that time) using the same robotic female (possibly Philipino) voice BUT this week the "cost" had almost trebled, they were apparently going to debit £99.99 from our bank account ....... Unless, of course, we pressed button 1 to speak to someone at Amazon. I think this is an attempt to scare those who didn't react to the last threat £39.99) into trying to speak to these evil people.

Ran off a load of numbers and letter supposedly from my computer licence and when asked to repeat it the numbers and letters did not match. When asked to supply I.P. address hung up. "Windows Tech Support" would never ring. Total scam.
