I typed the number in a search engine and thanks to others listing it was able to discover its Oxfam calling me on a daily basis. Have never answered call and no message is left. Will now add number to reject list as they are becoming a nuisance. We choose to give to charity and shouldn t feel pressured. That s not what its about.

Claimed to be from UCompare in Cheshire but the call was from a number in South Wales. Refused to give me their address when asked. Scam caller offering insurance.

Noone has my mobile number, and it nevers rings but today it did after i did apply for a new PAYG Sim Card for free from what i thought was genuine o2 web page advertising. If they are genuine and it s a courtesy call then fine, otherwise these could be scamartists trying to confirm your details by tricking you into surrending them online thinking its for a free sim card and cloning o2 s advertising website style. Be careful!

Called by this number trying to talk about pensions, I hung up.

Man with strong Asian accent rang asking me to confirm who I was, I asked who was asking and how he had got my number. He told me that I had unresolved debts, which I challenged and said I didn t, I asked him where he had got my number from and he mentioned Debt Resolution Services. I told him that I didn t give my number out and I asked him for his company details at which point he hung up

Claims to be British Gas. When challenged was hesitant and slightly aggressive. Didn t bother with caller further - he didn t know my name or who my supplier was. Suspect it was some kind of scam.

As I answered, the phone call cut off. Tried calling the number back via 1471 and it didn't exist!

Got a miss call. I called back and it was an old lady on the other end. I clearly stated that I got a miss call and was wondering who it was. The old lady very confusingly said "I havent called anyone" And I was like "okay, sorry, I just got a call, hence why but thats okay" She proceeded to say "go away" and cut the call

Person at the end of the call said they were blind and wanted help with bank account details! Very plausible sounding London accent!

usual pakistani,muslim sounding scammer claiming to be from solicitors. for some reason he didnt take too kindly to the barrage of verbal abuse from me and eventually took the hint after calling back 5 times in rapid succession for more of the same treatment. sometimes its just nice to be able to unload your abuse at someone who cant complain about you. :)

All most positive that it s a debt agency as keep calling odd hours & asking me full address , d.o.b etc but say that it s a matter off personal harms way crap bah,bah,bah do trust this number

Didn't answer them, they left no voicemail. I've been applying for loads of jobs recently so I assume it's either a call centre regarding that, or my numbers been sold on. I see it's calling all over the UK so I'm assuming it's a telemarketer. I'm located near Edinburgh. Number doesn't match a company or business on Google or facebook ????
