Have been receiving silent calls for a few weeks, then just now received a call from this number. Asian man claiming to be from an accident claim company. Sounds like a busy call centre in the background a female asked for my wife I said shes not in, shes at work, can I help you? so they just hung up with no type of explanation. Arrogant and obviously up to something they haven t got time to talk about.

Called our company asking for the branch manager to carry out a survey on energy contracts & customer satisfaction. Told him it s all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn t deal with it. He then asked if he could call back at a more convenient time, (obviously didn t listen to a word i d just told him!) at which point i told him no he couldn t call back at a more convenient time, no thank you & hung up on him. Logged him on our nuisance call list to be blocked by our telecoms company

Just had a call from this number asking for Mrs my name I said no it s Miss. She said just a quick call today, she was Jenny calling from National Institute for the Blind...and I put the phone down. Agree with Sue no problem with them as such, but the fact I hadn t asked for contact from them.

I couldn t understand much of what they were trying to say, on the 3 calls. Line with lots of cuts, so I didn t felt much comfortable with the call looking as some sort of scheme.

It would seem that there are that many scam numbers that the good ones unfortunately are getting tarred with the same brush. Lovely peoplewho helped me sort out compensation for industrial deafness.
