A man with a strong Indian/Pakistani accent called and told me he was calling from BT as my broadband connection was to be updated. He asked me to turn on my router and my laptop and the update would automatically start to download. I said that there have been a number of scam calls asking people to do this, would he mind if I hung up and called him back. Called from this number this morning. Didn't seem to be anyone on the other end of the line and call went dead after a few seconds. No message left
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware - similar numbers are already reported with debts/loans, financial services and PPI.

Asian female reportedly from "Windows Tech Support" called to tell me that that they had received numerous error messages from my computer and that she was there to help. Ran off a load of numbers and letter supposedly from my computer licence and when asked to repeat it the numbers and letters did not match. When asked to supply I.P. address hung up. "Windows Tech Support" would never ring. Total scam.
