I ve had a couple of missed calls from 0845-0942574 today (Tues 22nd Aug 17). I tried calling it back on my work phone (Skype) but the call wouldn t connect as the number isn t in service. Very dodgy if you ask me!

They phoned several times. I said my name was Arnold Schwarzenegger. The man called me Mr Schwarzenegger from that moment on. I said I ll be back and left the phone on the side of the table. When I returned he had hung up. Brilliant result - they ve not called me back since!!

Another number to avoid from a call centre. Asked for me by name even although it was my business line they called.

this number text me saying this is their new number and had lost contacts. They asked so send numbers of people we both knew. I stupidly thought it was my aunt Sue, and sent my mum, cousin and Nan s numbers. The following day i received a text asking if i am busy and if i could do them a favour and get them ?20 O2 top up by texting them the code. Probably a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility.
