This phone number is from a company called Brighter Homes (Double Glazing e.t.c)

Called a TPS registered line, asking for a named individual, and identifying themselves as "Jess from BT", and asking to talk about "Your broadband line". This is despite our Internet services not being provided by BT, and the named person that "Jess" was asking for having nothing to do with the provision of our broadband. If she really was from BT (which I very much doubt that she was) then it would be one good reason not to touch them with several barge-poles strapped together.

Have been getting calls from this number on my business line and now on my home line. Nobody ever speaks and the number hangs up as soon as I answer. I m on TPS on my home line so shouldn t be getting the call at all

I have had an Email asking for me to contact them on this number 0141 228 3029 quoting the ref number given in the Email. At the top of the Email it says Ebay Ref: AIC Ref: ...

I answered and there is a delay for 2 seconds before the automated message starts telling you to urgently press option 5 to claim your PPI. I hung up, there was no way I was pressing option 5 and probably getting charge ?1,000 a minute!!

I will post again if I manage to speak to these people. I stupidly applied for a loan was refused now despite stating did not want my number shared I have a crazy number of texts/calls all promising a loan in secs! All nonsense usually a "broker" wanting to charge an upfront fee of undisclosed amount to a debit card upfront for putting you in touch with loan companies with no gaurantee of an actual loan being arranged. Note I am not sure that this is the same but highly suspect it is and as it is not even s

Don't recognise number just know it's a Gloucester number declined and ignored.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

Was called today from this no. An Asian sounding chap introduced himself as Robin Waterman from B.T. and told me my broadband would be closed down for 10 days. When I asked him for the no. he was calling from he gave me a different no. to the one on my caller display. When I asked which of the 2 broadband accounts I am responsible for was affected he said the first one!
