Phone alert as spam. 4 calls today, 4 calls yesterday 1 Friday. Annoying to say the least. 20 calls from this number since 20th November last. Hopefully I have managed to block it this time.

02081521989 This person called pretending to be a computer and telephone engineer. He wanted to check my broadband speed and land line connections. He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.

I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.

This number has been spoofed by scammers pretending to work for Carphone Warehouse. Please do not engage with them.
Caller pretended to be a landlord of a property, which they were not. Requested documents and a holding deposit to start process. Would then send keys from Scotland to them for a property in Upminster, Havering.
