Got a call from a "With-held" number, then minutes later got a call from the same company on this number saying "You have been selected to receive a discount..." I didn t let them get any further. These types of sales tactics are the lowest of the low methods of marketing and sales especially as my telephone number is registered with telephone preference!

It was to do with my banking contract to help improve my banking package deal ie IF you pay for a premium banking service IE Lloyds Gold where in paying a monthly fee for your account they offer you various insurance packages the twit who phoned me was trying to tell me he was going to improve on my current offer!! It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.
