No name given. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

Strange message from person named Lana, saying taking daughter to Aquarium this weekend and wanting to know if they were interested in coming. This number has been reported to o2 as spam. Unable to say if this is a spam number or genuine number sending message by mistake ... although i see it has now been reported 4 times in on day so i suspect its a Scam of some sort.

I do not and have not lived in such properties, when asking where they got my number from they hang up on you . Don't answer

I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! An innocuous text message "Where are you? I am waiting for you?" but from an unrecognised number and the fact that it has already been searched 124 times in the last 2 weeks make me suspect that this is some sort of SCAM.

Missed call, left no vm, no msg, nothing to ID themselves, usually means something crooked these days. Don't know anyone in Manchester, would not have answered it anyway. Blocking this no. & reporting it to provider, etc., or anyone who will take note, if u do that every time for every nuisance/phishing call, it mostly stops for a while at least. Beware, stay safe.
