SCAM. Claimed to be from Sky, checking Broadband speed but then wanted me to log onto a website (nothing to do with Sky) and input personal info. Couldn't tell me my name, address, or any info to confirm that they were genuine, except for a Sky account number which was wrong. When I challenged the operator they started off defensive and then became aggressive and abusive.

Yet another spoofed mobile number call to my landline. They always have my name. How do they get my details. Invariably Asian sounding callers, beginning to suspect a problem at BT!
Called from this number at 0630 this morning. the caller claimed to be from nationwide but as I have never had any dealings with nation wide I hung up.

I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.
Just ring me and hang up on answering. I have a terminally ill parent and don't need this! Go forth and multiply

I told them if they ring me again, they will get abuse on the phone. When I picked up and say hello, there was only recorded answer that I need to call back this number because there is important stuff from HMRC that I need to sort out. The end of the message was a threat that if I don't they will contact authorities. I just want to let you all know , that HMRC will never call you- they will ALWAY send you a letter. It is a SACM.
