Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. I am living in Switzerland and had the same issue, within 3 days 15 text messages were sent to this number and didn't even stop when I switched off FaceTime and iMessage on my iphone. Carrier first blamed Apple and Apple blamed Carrier. Called Apple Tech support and after debating long back and forth they advised to back up the iphone (after storing all data on iCloud). In the end this helped. Seems to have been a bug. Was quite annoying.
Have had a few calls but, the line is really crackly and they instantly ask for your details but cut the call when you ask for theirs first.
Called today 14-06-16 regarding and insurance claim I have made within the last 3yrs. No Claim made in that time. Did not say who they were.

Definitely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller. NEVER RETURN A CALL and NEVER ...
This recorded message said they were my service provider......as they were not I put the phone down. We have other calls that start this way and then go on to tell me my router is compromised which it is not.
