I am fed up receiving up to 4 recorded messages every day from this number. In frustration I eventually dialled 2 and told a rather bored sounding person that I was fed up getting so many calls from them and asked if he could remove my name from their so called Government Database. He mumbled something and hung up! what can I do to stop this number calling me?

This number comes from Dunfermline - no idea who should be calling?? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing
Calls regularly, but when I answer there is nobody on the other end. I called the number back but either don t get an answer or it rings out. It is a Glasgow dialling code but I don t know anybody in Glasgow and have no dealings with any businesses there. I ve blocked the number and reported to OFCOM. I would advise anybody else being pestered by this number to do the same.

Called claiming to be from HMRC. Recorded message from a female with an American accent, calling herself Agent Sarah Wilson. Said to not ignore the message. I know this is a scam but I called the number. The phone was answered by a male with an Indian accent, claiming to be HMRC. When I questioned this he just hung up. Another number now on my blocked calls list!!

Michael called, no idea what TP is and no explanation given, just that he has landlords for me. Which confuses me as surely a landlord would just contact me directly as an agent. He also sounded incredibly rude when I suggested it be best that he call us again, not us call him. Not the way to speak to a business.

These people called claiming to be from the BT preference service. I told them I wasn't interested 3 times. Since then I've had three silent calls - all 6 calls were today. This is a scam.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036344xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with energy comparison schemes, government grants, green energy, but also classical PPI, insurance marketing - accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

SCAM Persistent automated calls claiming to be from 'your internet provider' (immediately an obvious scam as your own internet provider would identify themselves!) then threatens disconnection due to illegal activity on the account. Presume will then attempt to extort money, but don't listen to call beyond the first bit.

Answered this call and they said they were from Vodafone and said they were calling about my high phone bills recently to which I replied I have not had any high bills as never go over my allowance, the reply was okay goodbye. Tried phoning again today - didn't answer. Definitely a scam.
