Had a spoof call from this phone number gone midnight

1 day agoThis number is pretending to be NHS. They sent me a link to enter and "apply" for my NHS COVID Pass. The message also says "Failure to apply may result in a fine". And the link that they sent ends in .com and not in .ukReply

I m getting daily 2 to 3 calls from this number claiming I had an accident. They forcibly try to get personal info. I have given them nothing! BTW I had no accident. My number is registered with TPS and they ignore the law and keep calling, even when I alert them to that fact. BEWARE- SCAM!

Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Useless. A websearch for Stellar suggests 01294 225300. Calling that number: 1) they confirm the 0800 044 5265 caller ID is them calling on behalf of BT. 2) They ll remove our number from

Number rang my mobile, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm guessing it's PPI or some other cold calling number.

I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.

Called my name on answer phone. Very unnerving as cant call them back. They also use a mobile to call.

hangs up, so same comments as every one else. When are the authorities going to stop this by shutting them down

Recorded message saying they were returning my call request and to press 1 if I was available to take the call. I hung up as I ve made no such request because I don t have any dealings with them.

Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status. We have never had a call of this nature on our landline or at this hour and due to the circumstances it has caused enormous and unnecessary distress. Overwhelmed as i write this.

Claiming payment on Visa card but no mention of company name so put the phone down if they don’t say Barclays visa or NatWest visa etc you know it’s a scam plus it was automated call

This number left a message to call back John (no company name). When i returned the call he tried to sell me a pension. I questioned his methods and he put the phone down on me. Any company that operates in such a way is not worth dealing with.

These people just lie and tell you you have money due back on your rates when you don t! They sound very genuine at first but when you check with valuation office they say that it is a scam. Stay clear

These are a company who are trying to enforce time lapsed statute barred debts I answer the phone and don t speak then it costs them money also if you don t end the call they cannot phone out again until you do they soon stop calling

Was the usual boilers on benefits call. I engaged for a short time, he asked about anyone being on benefits/pension credits etc. and what type of heating I have. do not answer a call from this number ppi is calling. jeez we all know about ppi and how to claim IF we choose and we can do it without giving these companies the time of day. ignore, ignore, ignore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Person at the end of the call said they were blind and wanted help with bank account details! Very plausible sounding London accent!

I keep blocking their calls but the always call from a different number. My next option is change my phone number.
