SPAM The number seems completely bogus because they called me, and I tried calling them back twice or a number of times first of all withholding my number, and then I tried it from a regular number showing it, and there was no answer either. Called this number on what appeared to be a chasing letter for £2,490 from EON, when queried on the call the lady advised it was debt collection service. I did not carry on with the call, checked my account and called EON direct who confirmed this was not from them

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. 020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Scam caller wanting to warn of two transactions on my bank card today.
SCAM txt telling me my Apple Pay has been suspended. & to click the link to get it sorted. I don’t use Apple Pay. Opened the PayPal app & checked that, all up & running ok on there. So obviously a scam. I fwd the txt to Action Fraud then blocked the number & deleted it.
