This is apparently a lottery syndicate. They wanted me to set up a direct debit of £39/month. It started from a "win a free iPhone, guaranteed". They asked for my contact details, and then it became apparent that my details would be given to lots of companies. Then 02036346988 called me. This is apparently a syndicate of 150 people and you get 75 lines per week, in the EuroMillions lottery. If you win nothing in any month, then you get a full refund of your £39. This number calls my landline when I have an order to pick up from a Clarks shoe shop. Its always an sms from 00000etc. and quotes the Clarks order reference as a number. Very odd way of doing things but I guess its because I gave them my landline rather than a mobile number.
Keep being called by this number around 2-3 times a day during working hours (so can t pick up). It s so, so annoying and I wish they d just stop calling! No idea where they ve got my number from, but (being a regular victim to nuisance calls) if I don t recognise the number I won t answer. Would love to know who this is.
