I have no idea who They were I never answered it I don't if I don't recognize the number
Claimed to be Carphone Warehouse wanting me to upgrade- he hung up pretty promptly when I told him my phone was new and warned me it was a scam call
Repeated calls to a number that's only known to family and won't take the hint to leave me alone, and despite all the calls I still don't know who they are. Have just made an official complaint against this number.

Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

SCAM txt message from this number. Advising me I’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive. Please order a test kit: with a web address. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.

Ok seems like this number has called people starting on 23March 2023. As do not no anyone in Dagestan or Russia for that matter i did not answer. They left no voicemail as regards why they phoned so treating it as a scam and blocked it.
