Lady called in and claimed to be Anna from Amazon webservices. She asked to get contact data from one of my colleagues (who doesn't have Amazon as customer) to schedule a meeting with her boss. As we are located in Germany and my colleague doesn't have business in UK or with Amazon as customer I asked about the topic of this meeting. She claimed to not know that. I asked for their real location - gave them various options - they hung up after my third guess. Probably only wanted my credit card details.

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!
