SCAM Supposed to be from Amazon about yearly contract as I do not have one and the line was crackly put the phone down
I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. My phone rung again and it was a scam call centre from abroad offering to cover my washing machine but I was to pay today.

If you receive any medical supplies such as incontinence, nursing etc this company is Hartmann that supplies them and they may be calling if you haven’t ordered etc for a while

Definitely a scam as they asked for a fictitious name I have given the scammers before and false information. Trying to get me to change my life insurance to them so they can have a holiday in the Bahamas all on my savings I would expect.
Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Call center for Learning Curve . They have your number if you have ever searched or done the starting process for one of the 'free Level 2 courses' with government funding. The company are legit BUT beware the 'free' government funding claim - it is funded, but, from your adult learning grant which is means tested, they need all your income details etc and a £125 fee if you do not complete the course.
Said I was in a drawer for a prize but in the meantime said I'd be entered into the national lottery. Great but when it asked me for my bank details I knew it was a scam. BEWARE

This was a very frightning scam call, saying that amounts of something like £300 and £1100 had been debited to my card - they didn't say which - and to ring a certain number etc etc Dangerous and number now blocked.

I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Don't fall for this.
Female asked politely how I was then what handset I had. Said I do not want contact and told her she is breach of Telephone Preference and Information Commissioner. She hung up. I expect many more fraudulent calls now!
