They were very evasive when I answered, when I confirmed who'd they called as I thought it maybe the call I was expecting, they hung up. I returned the call to which an automated message answered saying I would be connected to an advisor ASAP. They are now on my auto reject list.

Robotic automated call initially (which worried me) but soon spoke to humans who confirmed a few transactions and are now sending out a new card. A little inconvenient having no card but much better than losing approx. £1k. Great job, Tesco Bank.
