Scam call about somebody abroad has used a bank card!!

Alpine Services called me saying I had been involved in a motor accident, which of course I had not. Phishing. They are NOT CONNECTED in any way to Alpine Insurance Services Ltd of Hadleigh Essex, who have traded reputable for over 30 years and never made these type of nuisance calls.

On TPS but it doesn t stop these scum. The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). Have fun writing to them to tell how much you appreciate their calls.

Apparently they make money on you making a return call...don't ask me how but it sort of makes sense because everyone seems to have the same response.

This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime. They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable.
