Like many other people I have been charged £30.99 which I definitely did not make. On checking this with a2b they can do nothing as they get paid by the provider, in my case, BT. I have made 4 different chat lines to BT but with no effect. They gave me a discount of £5. I was insulted and said I want a refund - the Indian base have told me to email BT at [email protected] I doubt if I will get anywhere and feel this scam should now be exposed to the media. I hope this might help others in this position

The caller said he was from british gas and asked for the last 3 digits of my post code. I told him I don t answer questions from cold callers. he said OK, please call customer services of british gas. Basically they were chasing an unpaid bill.
SCAM / SPAM 0203 468 5940 is more than likely a scammer . Male with Scottish Accent phoned asking if I had enquired about an Isa. I have not spoken or electronically enquired about an Isa in years. So a cold caller which I had thought was now illegal. Bad vibes. Don't divulge any details. He was pleasant enough but that in itself is a trick of the trade, and he as all scammers are thinking about there next bite. BEWARE.

SCAM told me that my national insurance number was going to be suspended for illegal activities and that if i didnt press one my assets would be taken and i would be arrested. Really scary and luckily i didnt fall for it because im only 16 and havent used my national insurance number at all.
This company called and left an automated answer on my voicemail (landline number) A really annoying Scottish male voice, it quoted a reference number which was slightly similar to my date of birth but with added characters also-perhaps a common date and year of birth to many people- and added that it was not a marketing call. The message was repeated twice. I can t be arsed calling them back, I have no debt in my life and refuse to fuel their stupid marketing ploys lol
