I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling. They required bank / credit card details and when I said I had already received compensation from my bank, the call was terminated by them without explanation.
Automat - noone said a word when I connected and call immediately dropped.

SCAM man calling himself Ryan said he was from Virgin Media, asking about my internet connection. Sadly I get scam callers daily, I can tell if it's going to be a proper business call or a scammer by the amount of time it takes to connect, if it takes some time then I know its connecting to a scam call centre on the Indian continent, I can predict they will have an Indian accent and an English Christian name.

OTHERWISE I COULD BE PREVENTING GENUINE CALLERS FROM USING THEIR PHONES. AFTER CHECKING ON LINE THE PHONE NUMBERS THAT I DO NOT RECOGNISE OR THOSE I HAVE ANSWERED AND FINDING OTHER REPORTS ON LINE I HAVE REPORTED THESE TO BT TO HAVE THEM STOPPED. BT HAVE A HELP LINE ON THEIR WEBSITE AND AT THE END OF THE LIST IS A SECTION FOR SCAM CALLS. I CANNOT REPORT THIS NUMBER AS
