It was a voice mail telling me my internet provider would cut off my internet in the next 24 hours and to speak to someone press 1. I thought this to be a scam so put the phone down.

Don’t know who this call was from as I didn’t answer it as I didn’t recognise the number. My answerphone message says if I don’t answer I won’t call back if no message is left. No message was left for this call so I’m assuming it wasn’t anyone that knows me or it wasn’t important or it was a scam. I’m assuming it was a scam.

The number was in an email which said it was from a friend (who I've not been in contact with for years) , asking for "help", but it was very much like another email I had just received from someone else saying he was a friend but that was spam. The number above was not one I recognised and when called simply asked callers to leave a message.
