This number is used to scam people out if money on Whats App. It will pretend to be a family member and ask you to talk on What’s App only and then ask to lend money for Christmas presents because they have been locked out of their banking app. Always ask for information that will verify that you are actually talking to your family member or they will play a clever game and scam you out if your cash. They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.

got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

Called me while I was abroad. I rejected the call. Assuming it was O2 trying to sell me a new telephone contract, like the previous people reported, then it s quite shocking to think I would have had to pay O2 for the dubious privilege of receiving an unsolicited telephone call from them offering to sell me something. :-(

Missed the call at 1 pm on a Saturday but left no message. Anyone know who it is?
Hard to know whether or not this was a scam call though it had some hallmarks. The caller's voice sounded like someone who phoned from a different number only yesterday and the MO was similar. She asked to speak with Mrs N (my mother) and when I said she wasn't available she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough; refused to share the name of the organisation she was calling from and said she'd get someone to call later. I don't think this is the way legit businesses operate. I blocked the number.

Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London.
