Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. I then rang back the number (03300270201) and got the following recorded message (female voice, American accent): "The number you have dialled is no longer in service. Called me twice this morning on my mobile. No message left. If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. Whatever they were trying to sell me hasn't worked and I'm happy about that at least. Number blocked.

Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

SCAM be careful as this number purports to be from BT and my IP Internet address has been compromised possibly by the Russians or Chinese and could be used for money laundering. When I said I only used Internet for my television he got annoyed and wanted to speak with my husband! Said no husband, so he closed conversation and said he'd call back!!

This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.
I think this number is being used as a scam saying money has been tried to be taken from my bank
