SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
Silent call. Called then hung up immediately when answered. So have blocked number.
Fine to pick up. It was a publisher trying to sign me up again for a magazine subscription I had previously cancelled. They offered me a free trial.

This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments. Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.

01534725717 called 1March 23 at14:29, possibly a recorded message advising my account had been charged £200 unauthorised, press 1 for ...... hung up.
This call was an automated voice call and claimed to be Amazon and stated that there had been a larger than usual claim on my credit card. It’s obviously a scam and I have reported it to Amazon.

On 15-02-2023 I was called, on my mobile by this (London) land line number. 020 45689768. When I replied the call got cut…. Called the number back and was connected to a voice message… Did not get the name of caller, so I called again…., but the same happened and the name pronounced was not clear to me….
