I called the number on my house phone and a recorded message says “sorry we cannot put you through at the moment”, no I’ll bet you can’t you scammers! As if I’ve ever used a Coinbase machine. This number should be a landline from Sedgefield - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?
Fraud - automated call saying it was my bank (didn't say which bank!!!) detailed two transactions it said was made this morning one to Amazon and one a transfer abroad. Asked me to press 1 to cancel transactions or 2 to authorize. I'm guessing that this would then take me to a premium line number or someone asking for my details. I just hung up of course. The scary thing is that it showed as coming from a local dialing code or I wouldn't have answered it.

SCAM / SPAM Indian/Pakaistan/Bangladesh accented male phoned me to offer monthly repair cover on my washing machine. Could offer as a one-off an 18month cover for £99 - paid by debit or credit card now. The monthly cover is by direct debit - presume they would want my account details for that.
