Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.
Thats twice now and the caller hangs up as soon as you answer. Boring.

I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.

SCAM - some paki pretending to be from your internet company saying error messages. I always say I've a fault that means my router gets disconnected when someone's calling but string the scumbags along as long as I can.
If they have taken money from your account its easy to get back go to your bank and explain to them and ask them you want to do charge back they will help you and within few days your money will be refunded. and don t forget each transaction it will cost this fraudsters around 20 quick just for charge back.

This is a scam which is going under the name of Amazon Banking so be warned Amazon dont do phone calls.

SCAM - the 3rd such similar text in as many days from different numbers. All had a link to a website that no doubt requests your bank details. In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.

I rang them back and ascertained from them that they had bought a quantity of telephone numbers from various sources and their computer was ringing them trying to get a positive response to their FREE BOILER initiatave. SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share

I was called by number 090432929, not 09043967, and this number is from Great Britain? I don't know anybody from Great Britain! We keep getting calls from strangers who most likely just want to sell us something, but I don't even pick up the phone anymore when we receive such calls and the number is not from my hometown. For that reason I once again don't know who exactly called us this time, but it's annoying!

SCAM text message from Hermes claiming that they could not deliver a parcel and giving an authentic looking url to rearrange delivery . No parcel expected , plus any caller has to use a door entry system . so definite scam
