Called around mid day to say my bank account had significant withdrawals and said press 2 to talk to an advisor. I suggested they did something physiologically impossible!

Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.

I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. Said they were contacting me about a problem I had with my house - suggesting it was rented / local authority. It's not so I said they had the wrong number and they hung up. Claiming to be Amazon re prime membership

Automated call SCAM Automated call Informed me money had been taken from my account to press 1 if not true. Checked bank account on app nothing had been paid out left call and blocked number.

Calling alleging they're from Currys PC World then mentioning my mobile phone provider and talking about new deals on handsets. Doesn't make any sense at all and totally trying to scam me.

Please do not trust this person because he will use someone else’s bank account and steal your money. This guy poses to sell stuff on internet but once you’ve transferred money over to this guy he’ll disappear and stop answering his calls or he’ll keep on saying next day and make stories up. BT internet scam call

01877 is the local code for my village when I answered the call it was a recorded message from Amazon Prime. Was this a scam call? Could be dangerous.

SCAM just about to check my accounts ( just in case I’m wrong!) but it was a recorded call alleging a suspicious transaction to a money transfer service. No bank id provided and asked to press buttons to connect to “service team”

This person purported to be from my banks fraud department. He was not.
