I do not know anyone in Edinburgh nor am I dealing with any company/organisation in Edinburgh! The caller did not leave a message which leaves me to think it was either. Scam or someone selling something. Either way, it was an unwanted phone call.

Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Very persistent - when I told them I didn't know my postcode they called back the following night. Even provided me with a (mobile!) number I could call to check that they really were Vodafone.

Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.
Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. 07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

01134780179 called 31 Mar 23 at 17:58 hrs. Female caller advised that some loft insulation has now been classified as dangerous and I qualify for a free survey of my loft.. Advised call that my loft is fully insulated and boarded. Caller said we'll call that closed then. Could that be the caller from 01134780149 at 17:26 hrs earlier same day, and, from 01134780181 at 17:43 same day but didn't leave a message?
