TAXES / HMRC Automated message. Had similar before. “This is HMRC. You are under investigation for tax fraud. Press 1 immediately to speak to your case officer. Failure to do so immediately will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.....” I did not press 1, so cannot say what happens if one does.

If my son wanted them to contact him he certainly would not have given a number he hasn t used for 10 years. They said they had a mobile no and wanted to check if it was still in use but due to data protection, couldnt give me what they had, but could check off the number I have for him.
