Called 5 times in the span of 15 minutes, the first 3 leaving long voicemails of silence. Likely a spam caller trying to find out if your phone number is actively used, so they can send it on to more spam callers.

TAXES / HMRC Claim to be HMRC - SCAM
I was called by this number, but I missed the call so I called back. A Lady answered the phone and claimed it was HMRC; she wanted to take my personal details so she could direct my call, however I declined to give my details. Later in the day I received a further call, when I took the call it was a computerised message asking me to contact HMRC on the number 02034671887. I did, a gentleman, I answered, saying HMRC. I asked him what the call was about, he wanted my details which i refused to give.

Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

SCAM Sounds of a call centre in the background. The caller had an Indian accent. Said it was a promotional call from Carphone Warehouse. Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.
I rang this number as called at 18.30pm and the ring tone sounded international then got put through to a robotic voice that just said all my agents are busy right now I’ll be sure to call you back! Blocked!
