This company has called me 13 times today under various number of 01733 611828 / 01733 611451 / 01733 611167 / 01733 611536 / 01780 658442 / 01780 658190 / 01780 658860 - they want to sell business energy. Say they will remove details then call again with different number.

Constant calls all through the night

This is an automated voice call that says my Amazon Prime membership will renew for £79.99. Except I don’t have Prime. Contacted Amazon and they said it’s defo not them and to report it. But I am failing to see what the ‘purpose’ of this scam call is since i wasn’t asked for anything? Amazon said they will probably call later and ask for payment.

The man who called addressed me by my correct first name and surname, and claimed he wanted to discuss the (fictitious) road accident I was supposedly involved in "recently." He hung up when pressed for specific details.

Answered this call as I run my own business. Said he was from Vodafone , knew my name and business name and was asking how I thought of them. As I have been having issues and was expecting a call anyway I told him straight. Then he said that O2 are better and I should move. 02034700214 Sounds like a not very credible scam to me. It's a recorded message claiming to be from tax office saying there's a fraud case with your name on. The Inland Revenue wouldn't contact you that way about anything, much less something as serious as a fraud case. I'd say it's both annoying and potentially dangerous if anyone is fool enough to believe it.
