Said it was a call from bt about my internet reporting something about unusual activities on my account, i was not convinced and ended call. They rang back twice more, which i declined to answer

This is a genuine landline number related to the Brighton Race course COVID vaccine centre.

Rings and rings off before I answer. Leaving no message. Can t call back. ANOTHER number I will be blocking

Caller is from the Ricoh call centre, all above board.

Called my Mum, who has dementia and claimed to be from her Housing Association. Asked her personal questions, which she answered (because they told her they were from her housing association). I am VERY ANGRY ABOUT THIS!!!

unsolicited harassing calls from numbers supposedly calling from Burton upon trent. Blocked

rang 4 times today but I let it go to answer machine, no message left, each time I`ve done the 1471 and its Laithewaithe`s presumably trying to sell me more wine. I placed my first on line order with this company just before Christmas (36 bottles of wine) 4 days after Christmas I got a call from them trying to sell me more, which I declined. They have pestered me 3 or 4 times a day almost every day ever since.Aargh!!! pass the wine somebody!!!

Almost certainly a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufactu...

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.
