SCAM - Claiming to be from 02 and asking for security code to access the account and give you a monthly discount. Fortunately the text that’s sent with the code warns to hand up immediately if code is being requested via the phone. Stay vigilant!

NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

Automated call from 01189668073 on my virtually unused landline threatening to cut off my internet service in 24 hours due to illegal activity. This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.
