Fraud. Automated call pertaining to be from Amazon stating that £300 will be taken from your account for a phone your have purchased. However, if you haven't then hit button 1. If you do you'll either be put through on a premium rate number to one of their criminals who will want your bank details of credit card number in order for them to "cancel the order" but will really use this to steal even more cash from you. They are also using other 01475 numbers.

Call centre in background. Said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse asking if I was currenly in a contract. I asked where he'd got my number and he said he was authorised to call anyone with a mobile. I'm registered with TPS (for what it's worth).

Silent call, received 3 from different Bradford (01274) numbers in the space of 15 minutes.
Fraud BEWARE THEY WILL CON YOU pretending to be a loan company, they ask for the first installment to be paid as they need to be sure you can afford it, which I paid, they then said that they would require a tax payment that HMRC required before your loan is paid, which I refused to pay, they are piggybacking a company called nouveau finance (this company only deals with mortgages and is a legitimate company, who don't have sister companies)YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOR THE LOAN

It is an automated message saying that they are HMRC and that a tax fraud claim is made against me, that I should press 1 and talk to a representative otherwise I will be arrested shortly. It is so annoying as to how they get my number, i have had so many unsolicitored calls recently. Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.
