Almost certainly a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Block the number if you have the facility.

Big massive mistake asking for brochure. Plagued with calls. Politely told them I do not want to hear from them and now I ve have another 4 calls today. Awful company, high prices and more pushy than a used car salesman! I would sit on floor before buying from them!

Had a couple of missed calls from this number yesterday. Answered a call from them today. They asked for me by name and said they were called Motor Assist and calling about a car accident. I told them I hadn t been in one and that they d been given the wrong information. They hung up on me without even as much as a goodbye. Number blocked.

These people pretend to be calling from Microsoft, telling you they have detected a virus on your computer, and if you don t let them help you and follow their instructions your computer will break down, they generally call you back if they feel you fit their demographic, which is elderly and vulnerable. They want access to your computer, do not tell them anything, report them.

As with previous comments, they asked for email address of person in charge of our service to send documents to. I told them they should already have it, they hung up.

Had a call from this number, asking to speak to my mother. I explained that she is 90 and deaf so could I help, to which I received a very arrogant response that he could only speak to my mother. I told him again she was 90 and if he couldn t speak to me I wasn t going to let him try to speak to her. Called (twice) to tell me that a survey showed few people in my area with alarm. Explained I have one and not interested. 2nd time asked to be removed from list as on TPS. Have now blocked on BT as well
