This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.
Received this call supposedly from 02. It was NOT 02 and was fraudulent! 24th June 2023

Got call from guy trying to sell Anglian windows, when i said i wasnt interested and told him i should not receive marketing calls anyway on my line, he kept calling me and then putting the phone down, this happening about 20 times in one evening. Avoid them like the plague.

This is a very persistent company, or their records are v poor. They have called several times on consecutive days - verging on harassment.
Cold caller who called our TPS registered line, asking to speak to a named member of staff. Claimed to be Ewan from Connect (n.b. *not* BT Connect, just Connect ) and said he would be in our local area tomorrow, but then named a town over 20 miles away. I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday.
